Ion exchange resin eductor

Overview

 

Iron exchange resin is widely used for water softening, water demineralization, condensate polishing, etc. Water treatment plant will do the best job only when resin is loaded properly into vessel. Resin transfer by mechanical pump is not recommended, because it would cause damage to resin particles and result in a rise of fines. Water jet eductor is a mobile unit used for hydraulic conveying of resin. It can also be called hydraulic ejector, liquid jet solid pump, liquid jet solid ejector, etc.

 

Structure

 

Resin eductor has 3 parts:

 

1. Hopper.

2. Water ejector.

3. Frame with four universal wheels.

 

Working principle of resin eductor

 

Vacuum caused by water jet flow passing through ejector nozzle will introduce resin particles into the mixing chamber. Resin particles are mixed with water and then conveyed to diffuser chamber, and finally to desired location.

 

Pressurized water: 0.3-0.5MPa

Resin lift height: 4-5m

Capacity: 5m3/h

 

Advantages of resin eductor

 

1. Wide application. Hopper equipped eductor can be used for hydraulic or pneumatic conveying of resin, powdered activated carbon, sand, limestone, hydrated lime, soda ash in power plant, chemical plant, pharmaceutical plant, metallurgy plant, etc.
