Introduction
GEEBLA-CS sound sensors are used to collect sound signals which come from boiler furnace. When the boiler is running in normal operation, received signals are low-frequency and low-intensity background noises. When furnace tube leaks, intensity of the sound increases obviously, and frequency of sound is mainly within the medium- or high-frequency region. At this time the sensors convert the signal intensity and frequency spectrum of sound to electrical signal, then transmitting to monitoring system which is in control room. The sensors are fixed on the end of sound conduction tube. Each sensor consists of an enhanced sound-wave sensor and a buzzer, which are sealed in a stainless steel casing. Generally the detecting range is in a 10~12m hemispherical space, and can be adjusted by rotation knob. The value set on the knob varies with the fluctuation of the background noise.
