Function of BFC/BFAS valve controller
BFC/BFAS electric valve controller is a new-generation smart valve positioner redeveloped from the original BFA model. By incorporating microprocessor technology, it significantly enhances valve opening control functions, protection capabilities for electric actuators, and compatibility with devices from various manufacturers. It also reduces the technical skill requirements for installation and debugging personnel.
BFC/BFAS valve controller adds a PLC computer interface. In automated control systems, computers, PLCs, or automation instruments can use this interface to obtain the valve’s working status and valve opening (4~20 mA signal). It also allows sending “open” or “close” commands to move the disc or ball into the desired position for optimal flow rates and characteristics. The integration of the PLC interface improves versatility, reliability and anti-interference capability of automation system that includes electric valves.
Features of BFC/BFAS valve controller
- Digital display of opening degree with automatic zero and full-scale calibration. LED indicators for open/close status, external/local control, and torque/protection.
- Audible keypress feedback; audible and visual alarms for torque protection during opening/closing and fault conditions (e.g., motor overcurrent, overheating, or stalling), with a mute function.
Flashing indicators during the opening and closing processes. - Automatic phase sequence logic correction for the power supply.
- BFC/BFAS valve controller enables upper-level control devices to operate the valve via the PLC interface using bit-level control.
- Compatible with previous models in dimensions, installation specifications, and external wiring, facilitating upgrades for existing users.
