Material
Electrostatic precipitator working temperature range is 150-450℃. Insulator of aluminium-oxide porcelain or alumina-silicate material is used for different conditions. High grade material gives ESP insulator excellent mechanical strength, electrical resistivity, thermal properties.
Features
High quality ESP insulators should have following advantages.
- High resistivity at elevated temperature to avoid potential electrical breakdown.
- Smooth surface to reduce buildup of contaminants and possibility of tracking.
- High mechanical strength to reduce cracking caused by mechanical stress.
- Low expansion coefficient to resist thermal shock.
