SZ-6 vibration sensor

Overview

SZ series electromagnetic speed sensor is used to measure the bearing housing vibration of rotating machinery such as turbines, compressors, fans and pumps. It is a electromagnetic sensor outputs voltage by a moving coil cutting magnetic lines, so it does not need to supply power at work and easy installation.




Functions

  1. Its output signal is proportional to the vibration velocity, and it is suitable with high-frequency, intermediate frequency and low-frequency vibration measurement.
  2. SZ series sensors have a low output impedance and a good signal-to-noise ratio. Without special requirements on output plugs and cables, it is easy to use.
  3. This sensor removes moving components that bring frictions, so its flexibility is good, you can measure the slight vibration (0.01mm).
  4. The sensor has a certain anti-lateral vibration capability (not more than 10g peak).
  5. It can be used to measure vibration of bearing housing, enclosure or structure (relative to absolute vibration of inertial space). It can be directly mounted on the outside of the machine, and maintenance is extremely easy.
  6. Its shell is made of stainless steel by laser welding process, and protection grade is IP65.

Installation

  1. Mounting position: horizontal or vertical mounted at the measured vibration point, fixed to the bottom of the sensor with screw M10 × 1.
  2. Mounting dimensions and specifications: if sensor mounting position is in the erosion of the high-temperature steam, protective measures should be added in order to reduce the sensor ambient temperature. Under normal circumstances, it may not add protection.
  3. Using and insulation requirements: the sensor output is suspended ground connection on the sensor plugs, sockets. Taking into account solid and reliable of wiring, one end as the positive terminal of the sensor signal output, the other end as a negative extreme, are connected to the signal input terminals on the back of vibration monitoring instrument, and the connecting wires which connect to vibration monitoring instrument requires good insulation properties, two core shielded cable is used, one end of the cable shield is floating, and the other end is ground connection on the enclosure of vibration monitoring instrument.
  4. Sensor installs with screws M10 × 1. For protective measures of sensor installing, sensor is equipped with protective cover, and the rest is handled by the user according to local conditions.


Storage and Maintenance

The sensor should be in a dry, ventilated warehouse without the strong magnetic field and corrosive substance in surrounding environment.
