Gas turbine isolation guillotine damper is located at diverter damper outlet to HRSG.
When the unit runs combined cycle, bypass system is closed, guillotine damper is lifted up to allow exhaust gas passage into HRSG.
When HRSG needs maintenance, guillotine damper is closed, exhaust gas is directed to bypass stack. Guillotine damper provides shutoff of exhaust gas coming from gas turbine to provide a safe working environment for workers.
If sealing air system is adopted, better isolation can be expected.
