FGD tandem Louver damper

Product Details

Louver damper for FGD system is installed on absorption tower inlet, outlet and bypass flue duct. It adopts double louver structure and seal air system to ensure zero leakage. A complete FGD louver damper includes damper, electrical/pneumatic actuator, seal air valve, fan, electric heater, control system, etc. We provide clients with optional choice-quick opening mechanism, which could change from totally closed to totally open status within 5 seconds.

 

Features of FGD louver damper:

 

  1. Self-aligning bearing, flexible open/close action, no jamming during rotation.
  2. 100% flue isolation.
  3. Rigid & durable structure.
  4. Dual seal system.
  5. Local control & remote control by DCS.
  6. Switch between manual or automatic control.
  7. Corrosion resistant material: SS316L, duplex SS 2205, 254SMO, Hastelloy C276, DIN 1.4529, etc.

 

Structure of FGD louver damper:

 

  1. Single shaft driven, double louver structure forms a cavity with mechanical sealing. Moreover, between the louver is seal air chamber. Seal air with pressure 500Pa higher than flue gas is ejected into the chamber for isolation of flue gas.
  2. Louvers have synchronous open/close action by connecting rod.
  3. Compensation gap considered for thermal expansion. Safe & reliable operation under hot status.
  4. Travel switch, limit switch, mechanical locking to ensure reliable action.

  1. Location: horizontal, vertical or inclined flue duct.
  2. Design pressure: ±8000Pa
  3. Design temperature: ≤350℃
  4. Leakage: ≤0%
  5. Power supply: 380V+220V/50Hz
  6. Seal air: pressure 500Pa higher than flue gas, temperature around 100℃.
