Triple offset butterfly valve has disc and seat in a cone shape, whose axis is offset from the disc centerline. It allows the disc to seal against the seat with low frictions.
Compared with conventional butterfly valve, triple offset butterfly valve has advantages like higher stability, longer service life, less wearing, low friction, etc. It solves the leakage problem of soft sealing under high temperature.
