Safety valve

Function

 

A68Y, A48Y, A69Y, A49Y safety valve is a spring loaded full lift safety valve designed for steam boiler in power plant. It could be used for main steam line, reheater line, steam drum, steam header to protect system from overpressure condition. As a fail-safe device, boiler safety valve could work in condition where temperature is below 560℃, pressure is below 20MPa.

Safety valve will be activated when the pressure exceeds a pre-set pressure. Valve plug will be retracted in a shortest time to ensure excess steam is released into atmosphere. The valve will be closed when steam line pressure reaches a safe level.
