Knife gate valve for burner line isolation

Function

 

In coal fired power plant, knife gate valve is used for isolation of coal burner line, which is between coal pulverizer and burner. It could cut off stream (a mixture of coal and primary air) during maintenance or shutdown. Knife gate valve is an essential equipment for the safe operation of pulverized coal fired boiler. Also, it is suitable for shutoff of fly ash hopper in pneumatic conveying system.

 

Structure

 

• Round shape knife gate, perfect contact with duct. No accumulation of coal powders.
• Double layer silicon sealing to prevent bulk solids leakage.
• Copper scrapper, which is designed to remove dust deposit on knife gate, could enhance sealing performance and improve service life of sealing material.
