Vacuum butterfly valve

Function

 

Vacuum butterfly valve is installed on condensate, saturated steam pipeline which requires vacuum isolation in thermal power plant. It’s vacuum tight performance could ensure power generation unit work at a high efficiency.

 

Application

 

In winter season, when air cooled condenser is in startup or low load operation, vacuum butterfly valve is closed to put part of air cooling units out of operation. This could increase thermal load of air cooling units in operation status to prevent pipeline from freezing. Vacuum butterfly valve ensures the normal operation of power generation unit. When temperature is lower than pre-set valve, temperature switch will turn on electric tracing band to heat valve body. Or else, valve can’t be opened due to ice on sealing surface.
